नागपूर,ता.१७ :  उच्च शिक्षण संस्थांमध्ये सर्व स्तरातील विद्यार्थ्यांना समान संधी आणि सुरक्षित वातावरण मिळावे, या मागणीसाठी आज नागपुरात UGC कृती समिती तर्फे एक भव्य शांततापूर्ण रॅली काढण्यात आली. 'UGC इक्विटी रेग्युलेशन २०२६' (UGC Equity Regulation 2026) तात्काळ लागू करण्यात यावी, हा या रॅलीचा मुख्य हेतू होता.

रॅलीचा मार्ग आणि सहभाग

ही रॅली शहरातील भीम चौक येथून सुरू होऊन संविधान चौक येथे विसर्जित झाली. यामध्ये मोठ्या संख्येने विद्यार्थी, सामाजिक कार्यकर्ते आणि विविध संघटनांचे प्रतिनिधी सहभागी झाले होते. नागपूरमधील अनेक सामाजिक संस्था आणि जागरूक नागरिकांनी एकाच मंचावर येऊन या मुद्द्याला आपला पाठिंबा दर्शवला.

रॅलीदरम्यान वक्त्यांनी उच्च शिक्षणातील भेदभावावर बोट ठेवत खालील प्रमुख मागण्या मांडल्या:

• समान संधी: SC, ST, OBC आणि इतर वंचित घटकांतील विद्यार्थ्यांसाठी भेदभावमुक्त आणि सुरक्षित वातावरण सुनिश्चित करणे.

• कायद्याची अंमलबजावणी: 'UGC इक्विटी रेग्युलेशन २०२६' ची अंमलबजावणी करून विद्यार्थ्यांच्या अधिकारांचे रक्षण करणे.

• शासनाची जबाबदारी: शिक्षण संस्थांमध्ये प्रतिष्ठा, सुरक्षितता आणि न्यायपूर्ण वातावरण निर्माण करणे ही सरकारची घटनात्मक जबाबदारी असल्याचे यावेळी ठासून सांगण्यात आले.

या आंदोलनात वैभव बोरकर, गौरव सहारे, अथांग करोडे, निखिलेश मेश्राम, मंगेश नागदेवे, बाबी वालदे, रवी चव्हाण, अक्षय, प्रिती ताई खांडेकर, अक्षय खोब्रागडे, प्रफुल्ल खोब्रागडे, नंदु भाऊ मांटे सहभागी झाले होते.

केंद्राने या नियमावलीची लवकरात लवकर अंमलबजावणी करावी, अशी आग्रही मागणी UGC कृती समिती, नागपूर यांच्या वतीने करण्यात आली आहे.

Grand rally in Nagpur for implementation of 'UGC Equity Regulation 2026'; Demand for equality in higher education

Nagpur, 17: A grand peaceful rally was taken out in Nagpur today by the UGC Action Committee to demand equal opportunities and a safe environment for students of all levels in higher education institutions. The main objective of this rally was to implement 'UGC Equity Regulation 2026' immediately.

Route of the rally and participation

The rally started from Bhim Chowk in the city and ended at Samvidhan Chowk. A large number of students, social activists and representatives of various organizations participated in it. Many social organizations and conscious citizens of Nagpur came to a single platform and showed their support for this issue. During the rally, the speakers pointed out the discrimination in higher education and made the following major demands:

Equal opportunities: Ensuring a discrimination-free and safe environment for students from SC, ST, OBC and other disadvantaged groups.

Implementation of the law: Protecting the rights of students by implementing the 'UGC Equity Regulation 2026'.

Government's responsibility: It was emphasized that it is the constitutional responsibility of the government to create a dignified, safe and just environment in educational institutions.

Vaibhav Borkar, Gaurav Sahare, Athang Karode, Nikhilesh Meshram, Mangesh Nagde, Babi Walde, Ravi Chavan, Akshay, Priti Tai Khandekar, Akshay Khobragade, Praful Khobragade, Nandu Bhau Mante participated in this protest.

A strong demand has been made on behalf of the UGC Action Committee, Nagpur, that the Center should implement these regulations as soon as possible.
