नागपूर,ता.२९ : कामठी रोडदिल्ली पब्लिक स्कूलची  विद्यार्थिनी वेरोनिका वासनिक हिने नुकत्याच पार पडलेल्या 'सी.बी.एस.ई. राष्ट्रीय कराटे चॅम्पियनशिप २०२५-२६' (CBSE National Karate Championship) मध्ये उत्कृष्ट कामगिरी करत रौप्य पदक (Silver Medal) पटकावले आहे. तिच्या या यशाने शाळेच्या शिरपेचात मानाचा तुरा खोवला गेला आहे.

ही राष्ट्रीय स्तरावरील स्पर्धा मध्य प्रदेशातील ग्वाल्हेर येथे १९ ते २१ नोव्हेंबर दरम्यान आयोजित करण्यात आली होती. या प्रतिष्ठित स्पर्धेत देशभरातील विविध शाळांमधील सर्वोत्तम खेळाडूंनी सहभाग नोंदवला होता. कडाक्याच्या स्पर्धेत वेरोनिकाने आपल्या अजोड कौशल्याचे आणि जिद्दीचे प्रदर्शन करत अंतिम फेरीत धडक मारली आणि रौप्य पदकावर आपले नाव कोरले.

 तिच्या या यशाबद्दल शाळेच्या मुख्याध्यापिका, क्रीडा शिक्षक आणि सर्व कर्मचारी वर्गाकडून तिचे भरभरून कौतुक होत आहे. वेरोनिकाच्या या कामगिरीने नागपूर शहराचे नाव राष्ट्रीय स्तरावर उंचावले असून, तिच्या पुढील क्रीडा प्रवासासाठी सर्वस्तरातून शुभेच्छांचा वर्षाव होत आहे.

Nagpur, Nov 29: Veronika Wasnik, a student of Delhi Public School (DPS), Kamptee Road, has achieved remarkable success by winning the Silver Medal at the recently concluded 'CBSE National Karate Championship 2025-26'. Her outstanding performance has added a feather to the school's cap.

This national-level competition was organized in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh, from November 19th to 21st. Top athletes from various schools across the country participated in this prestigious event. Displaying unmatched skill and determination amidst fierce competition, Veronika made her way to the finals and secured the silver medal.
