ऐतिहासिक तलावाचे सौंदर्यीकरण करा : आम आदमी पार्टी

 उत्तर नागपुरातील  तलाव  दुर्गंधीयुक्त, रोगराईस आमंत्रण देणारा 

नागपूर, ता. २६ :  उत्तर नागपुरातील  नवी मंगळवारी प्रभाग ५ परिसरातील ऐतिहासिक तलाव  दुर्गंधीयुक्त व रोगराईस आमंत्रण देणारा झालेला आहे, तलावाचे  सौंदर्यीकरण  करण्यात यावे अशी मागणी आम आदमी पार्टीतर्फे मनपा सतरंजीपुरा झोनचे  सहाय्यक आयुक्त यांना निवेदन देण्यात आले. 

इंग्रजांच्या काळापासून ३०० वर्ष जुना तलाव असून  २० ते ३०  वर्षापासून हा तलाव दुर्गंधीयुक्त व रोगराईस आमंत्रण देणारा झालेला आहे.   तलाव पूर्वी तीन एकर परिसरात होता . या तलावाचे पाणी परिसरातील लोक पिण्याचे पाणी  वापरत असत . कालांतराने तलावाच्या आजूबाजूस . अतिक्रमण झाल्यामुळे तलाव फारच लहान झालेला आहे . या तलावात गडर लाईनचे पाणी तसेच आजूबाजूला घाण आणि कचरा व निर्माल्य यामूळे तलाव दूषित झाला आहे . त्यामुळे  परिसरातील नागरिकांना अनेक प्रकारच्या आजाराशी सामना करावा लागत आहे . 

तलावाच्या सौंदर्यीकरण करण्याकरिता येथील नागरिकांनी स्थानिक नगरसेवक, स्थानिक आमदार व खासदारांना व मनपा अधिकारी यांना निवेदने दिलीत परंतू याकडे दुर्लक्ष केल्या गेले . नागपूरला स्मार्ट सिटी बनविण्याच्या दृष्टिने प्रयत्न केले जात असतांना उत्तर नागपूरातील या ऐतिहासीक तलावाकडे स्थानिक पदाधिकारी व प्रशासनाचे दूर्लक्ष दिसून येते आहे.  

आम आदमी पार्टी उत्तर नागपूरचे सह संयोजक विजय नंदनवार यांच्या नेतृत्वात  मनपा सतरंजीपुरा झोनचे   सहाय्यक आयुक्त विजय हुमने  यांना निवेदन देण्यांत आले .  एक महिन्याच्या कालावधीत जर सौंदर्यीकरणाच्या कामास सुरुवात झाली नाही तर आम आदमी पक्षाच्या वतीने " जन आंदोलन " करण्यात येईल असा इशारा देण्यांत आला . यावेळी शंकर इंगोले , रोशन डोंगरे , गुणवंत सोमकुवर , प्रदिप पौनीकर , डॉ जयप्रकाश पौनीकर , हरेश निमजे , योगेश पराते , राज कुंभारे , निलकंठ टाकळीकर , सुनिल कोटांगले , धनराज बारापात्रे , स्विटी इंदोरकर , दिपाली पाटील आदी  पदाधिकारी उपस्थित होते.

The lake is contaminated with water from the fence line as well as the surrounding dirt and debris. Therefore, the citizens of the area have to face many types of diseases.

In order to beautify the lake, the citizens made representations to the local corporators, local MLAs and MPs and the Municipal Corporation officials but this was ignored. While efforts are being made to make Nagpur a smart city, this historic lake in North Nagpur has been neglected by the local authorities and administration.

      The statement was handed over to Vijay Humne, Assistant Commissioner, Sataranjipura Zone, led by Vijay Nandanwar, co-convener of Aam Aadmi Party North Nagpur. If the beautification work is not started within a month, there will be a "mass movement" on behalf of the Aam Aadmi Party. Shankar Ingole, Roshan Dongre, Gunwant Somkumar, Pradip Paunikar, Dr. Jaiprakash Paunikar, Haresh Nimje, Yogesh Parate, Raj Kumbhare, Nilkanth Taklikar, Sunil Kotangle, Dhanraj Barapatre, Sweety Indorkar, Deepali Patil and other office bearers were present on this occasion.
