उच्च न्यायालयाच्या निर्णयानुसार धम्मचक्र दिन : डॉ. नितीन राऊत

नागपूर :  धम्मचक्र प्रवर्तन दिनी लाखोंच्या संख्येने भाविक दीक्षाभूमीचे दर्शन घेण्यासाठी येतात. मात्र कोरोना महामारीचे थैमान लक्षात घेता राज्य शासनाने दिलेल्या निर्बंधांचे पालन करणे आवश्यक आहे. यासंदर्भात मुंबई उच्च न्यायालयात दाखल याचिकेवर उच्च न्यायालयाच्या निर्णयानुसार धम्मचक्र प्रवर्तन दिनाचा कार्यक्रम आयोजित करणार, असे पालकमंत्री डॉ. नितीन राऊत यांनी डॉ. बाबासाहेब आंबेडकर कॉलेज येथील बैठकीत सांगितले.

      कोविड-19 पार्श्वभूमीवर धम्मचक्र प्रवर्तन दिनाचा कार्यक्रम आयोजित न करण्याच्या स्मारक समितीने  २५ सप्टेंबर रोजी घेतलेल्या निर्णयाला पालकमंत्र्यांनी दुजोरा दिला.राज्य शासनाने कोणताही यात्रा महोत्सव व धार्मिक स्थळ न उघडण्याचा  निर्णय।घेतला आहे. त्यामुळे स्मारक समितीने घेतलेल्या निर्णयासोबत प्रशासन आहे. तथापी  मा.उच्च न्यायालयाच्या निर्णयाशी प्रशासन बांधील राहील. तोपर्यंत अनुषंगिक पूर्वतयारी ठेवावी, असेही त्यांनी सांगितले.

    या बैठकीला विभागीय आयुक्त डॉ. संजीव कुमार, जिल्हाधिकारी रविंद्र ठाकरे, महानगरपालिका आयुक्त राधाकृष्णन बी, पोलीस आयुक्त अमितेश कुमार, स्मारक समितीचे अध्यक्ष भंते आर्य नागार्जुन सुरई ससाई, सचिव सुधीर फुलझेले, विलास गजघाटे यासह सदस्य उपस्थित होते.

    So the administration is with the decision taken by the memorial committee. However, the administration will abide by the decision of the Hon'ble High Court. He also said that ancillary preparations should be made till then. Sanjeev Kumar, District Collector Ravindra Thackeray, Municipal Commissioner Radhakrishnan B, Commissioner of Police Amitesh Kumar, Chairman of the Memorial Committee Bhante Arya Nagarjuna Surai Sasai, Secretary Sudhir Fulzele, Vilas Gajghate and other members were present.
