नागपुरात पुन्हा 'लॉकडाऊन' : मनपा आयुक्त तुकाराम मुंढे

मनपा आयुक्त तुकाराम मुंढे यांचा इशारा : दिशानिर्देशांचे कडक पालन करण्याचे आवाहन

नागपुरात नागरिकांकडून दिशानिर्देशांचे पालन होत नाही, हे गेल्या काही दिवसांत रुग्णसंख्येत झालेल्या वाढीने सिद्ध केले आहे. यापुढेही जर अशीच परिस्थिती राहिली तर नागपुरात पुन्हा ‘लॉकडाऊन’ करण्याचा निर्णय घेण्यात येईल, असा इशारा मनपा आयुक्त तुकाराम मुंढे यांनी दिला. 

नागपूर : नागपुरात गेल्या काही दिवसात झपाट्याने वाढलेली कोव्हिड-१९ रुग्णांची संख्या ही चिंतेची बाब आहे. लॉकडाऊन शिथील झाल्यानंतर सुरू झालेल्या ‘मिशन बिगीन अगेन’ अंतर्गत नागरिकांना दैनंदिन व्यवहार सुरू करण्याची सूट देण्यात आली. परंतु, हे करताना दिशानिर्देशांचे पालन करणे बंधनकारक आहे. नागपुरात नागरिकांकडून दिशानिर्देशांचे पालन होत नाही, हे गेल्या काही दिवसांत रुग्णसंख्येत झालेल्या वाढीने सिद्ध केले आहे. यापुढेही जर अशीच परिस्थिती राहिली तर नागपुरात पुन्हा ‘लॉकडाऊन’ करण्याचा निर्णय घेण्यात येईल, असा इशारा मनपा आयुक्त तुकाराम मुंढे यांनी दिला. 

नागपुरातील कोरोनाच्या परिस्थितीवर शनिवारी (ता. ११) मनपा आयुक्त तुकाराम मुंढे यांनी एका व्हिडिओच्या माध्यमातून नागरिकांशी संवाद साधला. या संवादादरम्यान त्यांनी कोरोनासंदर्भात नागपुरातील परिस्थितीवर भाष्य केले. ते म्हणाले, नागपुरात कोरोनाचा पहिला रुग्ण ११ मार्च रोजी आढळला होता. आज ११ जुलै आहे. चार महिन्यात रुग्णांची संख्या १७८९ इतकी आहे. मात्र, ही संख्या गेल्या दीड महिन्यात झपाट्याने वाढली. राज्य शासनाने १ जूनपासून लॉकडाऊनमध्ये शिथिलता देत ‘मिशन बिगीन अगेन’ सुरु केले. याअंतर्गत काही बंधने पाळून आणि दिशानिर्देशांचे पालन करून नागरिकांना आपले दैनंदिन व्यवहार करण्याची मुभा दिली. जर आवश्यकता नसेल तर घराबाहेर पडूच नये, असेही राज्य शासनाने म्हटले होते. मात्र, राज्य शासन आणि स्थानिक पातळीवर महानगरपालिकेने दिलेल्या दिशानिर्देशांचे सर्रास उल्लंघन होत असल्याचे लक्षात आले आहे. खासगी किंवा शासकीय कार्यालयात १५ व्यक्ती किंवा १५ टक्के यापेक्षा जी संख्या अधिक असेल त्या संख्येत कर्मचाऱ्यांना बोलावून काम करण्याच मुभा देण्यात आली होती. परंतु त्याचेही उल्लंघन होत आहे. दुकाने सुरु करण्यासंदर्भातील काही नियम आहेत. बाजार परिसरातील दुकाने एका बाजूची एक दिवस आणि दुसऱ्या बाजूची दुसऱ्या दिवशी उघडावी, तसे दिवस ठरवून देण्यात आले आहेत. दुकाने सुरू ठेवण्याचा वेळ हा सकाळी ९ ते सायंकाळी ७ असा आहे. मात्र, हा नियमही पाळला जात नाही. दुकानात येणाऱ्या ग्राहकांनी सोशल डिस्टंसिंग पाळावे, मास्कचा वापर करावा या नियमांचे पालन करण्याची जबाबदारी दुकान मालकांची आहे. त्याकडेही दुर्लक्ष होत असल्याचे दिसत आहे. अनेक जण विनाकारण शहरात फिरत आहे. दुचाकींवर दोन व्यक्ती तर चार चाकी वाहनांत पाच-पाच व्यक्ती फिरत आहे. परिणामी आता नागपूर शहरात कोरोना बाधीतांची संख्या झपाट्याने वाढत आहे. 

ही परिस्थिती अशीच राहिली, नागरिकांनी नियमांचे पालन केले नाही तर आणखी काही कठोर निर्णय घ्यावे लागतील. पुन्हा लॉकडाऊनचा निर्णय घ्यावा लागेल. त्यामुळे दिशानिर्देशांचे पालन करा, स्वत: सुरक्षित राहा आणि इतरांनाही सुरक्षित ठेवा, असे आवाहन मनपा आयुक्त तुकाराम मुंढे यांनी केले आहे. 

उल्लंघन करणाऱ्यांवर होणार गुन्हा दाखल

लॉकडाऊनचा निर्णय घेण्याअगोदर सोमवारपासून मनपा आणि पोलिस प्रशासन नियमांचे उल्लंघन करणाऱ्यांवर ‘वॉच’ ठेवणार आहे. कुणी नियम तोडताना आढळून आल्यास मनपा आणि पोलिस नियंत्रण कक्षाला त्याची माहिती नागरिकांनी द्यावी. अशा नियम मोडणाऱ्या व्यक्ती, संस्था, खासगी कार्यालये आदींवर कठोर कारवाई करण्यात येणार आहे. वेळप्रसंगी त्यांच्यावर गुन्हाही दाखल करण्यात येईल, असा इशारा आयुक्त तुकाराम मुंढे यांनी दिला आहे. 

मध्यवर्ती कारागृह नवा ‘हॉटस्पॉट’

नागपूर मध्यवर्ती कारागृहातील ५०० कैद्यांची चाचणी करण्यात आली. त्यापैकी सुमारे ३०० कैदी कोरोना पॉझिटिव्ह असल्याचे निष्पन्न झाले. अजून सुमारे १२०० जणांची चाचणी व्हायची आहे. त्यातून मोठा आकडा समोर येण्याची शक्यता आहे. एकंदरच मध्यवर्ती कारागृह आता कोरोनाचा नवा ‘हॉटस्पॉट’ झाला आहे. असे हॉटस्पॉट नागपूर शहरात इतरत्र तयार होऊ नये, असे वाटत असेल तर कोरोनाची साखळी खंडित करण्यासाठी दिशानिर्देशांचे पालन करा, असे आवाहन आयुक्त तुकाराम मुंढे यांनी केले आहे.

On Saturday (11th) Municipal Commissioner Tukaram Mundhe interacted with the citizens through a video on the situation of Corona in Nagpur. During the conversation, he commented on the situation in Nagpur with regard to Corona. He said the first corona patient was found in Nagpur on March 11. Today is July 11th. The number of patients in four months is 1789. However, this number has increased rapidly in the last one and a half months. The state government started 'Mission Begin Again' from June 1, relaxing the lockdown. Under this, citizens were allowed to carry out their daily activities by following certain restrictions and guidelines. The state government had also said that one should not go out of the house if there is no need. However, it has been noticed that the guidelines given by the state government and the corporation at the local level are being violated. In private or government offices, only 15 persons or 15 per cent or more were allowed to work. But it is also being violated. There are some rules regarding starting a shop. The shops in the market area are scheduled to open on one day on one side and on the other day on the other side. Shopping hours are 9am to 7pm. However, even this rule is not followed. It is the responsibility of the shop owners to ensure that the customers who come to the shop follow social rules and use masks. That too seems to be being ignored. Many are wandering the city for no reason. There are two persons on two wheels and five persons in four wheelers. As a result, the number of corona cases in Nagpur city is increasing rapidly.

The situation remains the same, if the citizens do not follow the rules, some more tough decisions will have to be taken. Lockdown will have to be decided again. Therefore, follow the guidelines, keep yourself safe and keep others safe, appealed Municipal Commissioner Tukaram Mundhe.

Violators will be prosecuted

Before taking the decision of lockdown, the corporation and police administration will keep a watch on those violating the rules from Monday. Citizens should inform the Municipal Corporation and Police Control Room if anyone is found breaking the rules. Strict action will be taken against individuals, organizations, private offices etc. who break such rules. Commissioner Tukaram Mundhe has warned that a case will be filed against him in due course.

Central Prison New 'Hotspot'

500 inmates of Nagpur Central Jail were tested. Of these, about 300 prisoners were found to be corona positive. About 1,200 more are to be tested. A large number is likely to emerge from it. Overall, Central Prison is now Corona's new hotspot. If you think such hotspots should not be set up elsewhere in Nagpur, then follow the guidelines to break the corona chain, appealed Commissioner Tukaram Mundhe.
