अतिरिक्त आयुक्त जलज शर्मा यांनी स्वीकारला पदभार

नागपूर, ता. ३० : नागपूर महानगरपालिकेचे नवनियुक्त अतिरिक्त आयुक्त जलज शर्मा यांनी गुरूवारी (ता.३०) सकाळी पदभार स्वीकारला. यापूर्वी ते यवतमाळ जिल्हा परिषदेचे मुख्य कार्यकारी अधिकारी म्हणून कार्यरत होते. 

         मनपाचे उपायुक्त निर्भय जैन व सहा. आयुक्त महेश धामेचा यांनी त्यांचे स्वागत केले.

        मूळ हरयाणा येथील निवासी असलेले जलज शर्मा बी.टेक कम्प्युटर इंजिनिअर आहेत. प्रथम २०११ मध्ये ते भारतीय महसूल सेवेत (आयआरएस) रुजू झाले. त्यानंतर त्यांची २०१४ मध्ये भारतीय प्रशासकीय सेवेत (आयएएस)  निवड झाली. यवतमाळ जिल्हा परिषदेत सुमारे अडीच वर्ष कार्यभार स्वीकारल्यानंतर ते गुरुवारी (ता.३०) नागपूर महानगरपालिकेमध्ये अतिरिक्त आयुक्त म्हणून रूजू झाले आहेत. त्यापूर्वी त्यांनी जळगाव येथे उपविभागीय अधिकारी म्हणून काम केले आहे‍.

Additional Commissioner Jalaj Sharma accepted the post

Nagpur, 30: Newly appointed Additional Commissioner of Nagpur Municipal Corporation Jalaj Sharma took charge on Thursday (30th) morning. Earlier, he was the Chief Executive Officer of Yavatmal Zilla Parishad.

         Corporation Deputy Commissioner Nirbhay Jain and Saha. He was welcomed by Commissioner Mahesh Dhamecha.

        Originally from Haryana, Jalaj Sharma is a B.Tech Computer Engineer. He first joined the Indian Revenue Service (IRS) in 2011. He was then selected for the Indian Administrative Service (IAS) in 2014. After accepting charge in Yavatmal Zilla Parishad for nearly two and a half years, he has been appointed as Additional Commissioner in Nagpur Municipal Corporation on Thursday (30th). Prior to that, he has worked as a Sub-Divisional Officer at Jalgaon.
