रॅपिडो चालकाला लुटणारी पाच जणांची टोळी जेरबंद;
पारडी पोलिसांची धडाकेबाज कारवाई, ३.४० लाखांचा मुद्देमाल जप्त
नागपूर: रॅपिडो बाइकवर ट्रिप सोडून परतणाऱ्या एका तरुण चालकाला अडवून, मारहाण करत लुटणाऱ्या ५ अट्टल आरोपींच्या टोळीला नागपूरच्या पारडी पोलिसांनी अत्यंत चाणाक्षपणे बेड्या ठोकल्या आहेत. अटक करण्यात आलेल्या आरोपींकडून पोलिसांनी गुन्ह्यात वापरलेली वाहने आणि मोबाईलसह एकूण ३ लाख ४० हजार ५०० रुपयांचा मुद्देमाल जप्त केला आहे.
घटना नेमकी काय घडली?
फिर्यादी अथर्व गौरीशंकर मस्के (वय २१, रा. वैष्णोदेवी नगर, भांडेवाडी) हा रॅपिडो कंपनीत चालक म्हणून काम करतो. दिनांक ९ मे २०२६ रोजी सायंकाळी ६:३० वाजताच्या सुमारास तो उमिया धाम मंदिर (पारडी) येथे एक बुकिंग ट्रिप सोडण्यासाठी आला होता. ट्रिप संपवून परत जात असताना, उमिया धाम मंदिराजवळील नाल्याजवळ तो काही वेळ थांबला.
त्याच वेळी तोंडाला कापड बांधून आलेल्या काही अनोळखी इसमांनी अथर्वला घेरले आणि पैसे काढून देण्याची धमकी दिली. अथर्वने पैसे देण्यास नकार दिला असता, आरोपींनी त्याला बेदम मारहाण केली आणि त्याच्याकडील अॅप्पल व ओपो कंपनीचे दोन महागडे मोबाईल फोन आणि रोख ४,००० रुपये जबरदस्तीने हिसकावून घेऊन घटनास्थळावरून पळ काढला.
पारडी पोलिसांत गुन्हा दाखल
याप्रकरणी फिर्यादीच्या तक्रारीवरून पारडी पोलीस ठाण्यात भारतीय न्याय संहितेच्या (BNS) कलम ३०९ (६), ३५१(२), ३(५) अन्वये जबरी चोरीचा गुन्हा (अपराध क्र. २७०/२०२६) दाखल करण्यात आला.
अशी झाली आरोपींची धरपकड
गुन्ह्याचे गांभीर्य ओळखून वरिष्ठ पोलीस अधिकाऱ्यांच्या मार्गदर्शनात पारडी पोलिसांच्या तपास पथकाने चक्रे फिरवली. तांत्रिक विश्लेषण, सायबर सेलची मदत आणि गोपनीय बातमीदारांकडून मिळालेल्या पक्क्या माहितीच्या आधारे पोलिसांनी सापळा रचून या लुटमारीत सामील असलेल्या ५ आरोपींना ताब्यात घेतले. चौकशीअंती या पाचही आरोपींना पोलिसांनी अटक केली आहे.
अटक करण्यात आलेले आरोपी:
१) प्रज्वल रंजीत नेवारे (वय १९ वर्ष, रा. शिवनकर नगर झोपडपट्टी, नंदनवन)
२) तुषार गणपत गहुकर (वय २० वर्षे, रा. गडेगाव, सावनेर)
३) दर्शन दिवाकर दुधकवडे (वय १९ वर्षे, रा. गडेगाव, सावनेर)
४) रोहीत रतीराम रहांगडाले (वय २१ वर्षे, रा. शिवछत्रपती नगर, वाठोडा)
५) समीर उमाजी लांबट (वय १८ वर्षे, रा. शिवछत्रपती नगर, वाठोडा)
३.४० लाखांचा मुद्देमाल जप्त
पोलिसांनी आरोपींकडून लुटलेला ओपो कंपनीचा मोबाईल, तसेच गुन्ह्यात वापरलेली इतर वाहने आणि मोबाईल असा एकूण ३,४०,५०० रुपयांचा मुद्देमाल हस्तगत केला आहे. यामध्ये खालील वस्तूंचा समावेश आहे:
मोबाईल फोन: ओपो, वन प्लस, अॅप्पल आणि दोन विवो मोबाईल (एकूण ५ मोबाईल).
वाहने: एक काळ्या रंगाची पल्सर २२० (MH 40 DH 5055), स्प्लेंडर प्लस (MH 49 BU 6679) आणि सुजुकी एक्सेस मोपेड (MH 49 BD 1484).

कारवाईत पारडी पोलीस ठाण्याचे वरिष्ठ पोलीस निरीक्षक मा. श्री. सुनिलकुमार काकडे, गुन्हे पोलीस निरीक्षक विवेक भारती यांच्यासह सपोनि प्रशांत भागवत, गजाजन कंकाळ, पोउपनि अरविंद कोल्हारे आणि पोलीस अंमलदार पप्पू यादव, संदीप लांडे, प्रसनजित जांभुळकर, भूषण झरकर, निखिल मोहीते, योगेश बोरेकर, गौरव युवते, धनराज उमरेडकर व मनिष तिवारी यांनी मोलाची भूमिका बजावली.

Nagpur: The Pardi Police in Nagpur have smartly busted an active five-member gang that intercepted, assaulted, and robbed a young Rapido bike driver while he was returning from a ride. The police have arrested all five accused and seized property worth ₹3,40,500, including vehicles and mobile phones used in the crime.
What Exactly Happened?
The complainant, Atharva Gaurishankar Maske (21, residing behind Sarjurao Town, Vaishnodevi Nagar, under Bhandewadi Police Station jurisdiction), works as a driver for the Rapido company. On May 9, 2026, around 6:30 PM, he had come to the Umiya Dham Temple area in Pardi to drop off a booking ride. After completing the ride, he briefly stopped near a stream close to the Umiya Dham Temple while on his way back.
At that time, a few unidentified individuals with their faces covered with cloth surrounded Atharva and demanded money. When Atharva refused, the suspects brutally assaulted him, forcibly snatched his two expensive mobile phones (Apple and Oppo brands) along with ₹4,000 in cash kept inside the phone cover, and fled the scene.
Case Registered at Pardi Police Station
Based on the complainant's report, Pardi Police registered a case of robbery under Sections 309(6), 351(2), and 3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) (Crime No. 270/2026).
How the Accused Were Caught
Recognizing the seriousness of the crime, the investigation team of Pardi Police swung into action under the guidance of senior police officers. Utilizing technical analysis, assistance from the Cyber Cell, and reliable inputs from confidential informants, the police set a trap and detained the 5 suspects involved in the robbery. Following interrogation, all five accused were formally arrested.

Tushar Ganpat Gahukar (20, residing at Gadegaon, Post Khamgaon, Taluka Savner, District Nagpur)
Darshan Diwakar Dudhkawade (19, residing at Gadegaon, Post Khamgaon, Taluka Savner, District Nagpur)
Rohit Ratiram Rahangdale (21, residing at Shivchhatrapati Nagar, under Wathoda P.S., Nagpur)
Samir Umaji Lambat (18, residing at Shivchhatrapati Nagar, under Wathoda P.S., Nagpur)
Property Worth ₹3.40 Lakh Seized
The police recovered the robbed Oppo mobile phone from the accused, along with other mobile phones and vehicles used during the execution of the crime, totaling a value of ₹3,40,500. The seized items include:
Mobile Phones: Oppo, OnePlus, Apple, and two Vivo mobile phones (5 mobiles in total).
Vehicles: A black Pulsar 220 (MH 40 DH 5055), a Splendor Plus (MH 49 BU 6679), and a Suzuki Access moped (MH 49 BD 1484).
Cash amount.
