कोल्हापूर होणार १०० सेकंदासाठी स्तब्ध

६ मे १९२२ या दिवशी राजश्री शाहू महाराजांचे निधन झाले त्या दिनाला १०० वर्षे पूर्ण होत आहेत.आणि या निमित्ताने संपूर्ण कोल्हापूर १०० सेकंदासाठी स्तब्ध ठेवून त्यांना मानवंदना देण्यात येणार आहे

येत्या ६ मे रोजी सकाळी ठीक १० वाजता सारे कोल्हापूर १०० सेकंदासाठी स्तब्ध होणार आहे. ही स्तब्धता म्हणजे, राजश्री शाहू महाराजांना त्यांच्या १००व्या स्मृती दिनानिमित्त केले जाणारे सामूहिक वंदन असणार आहे. सर्व व्यवहार १०० सेकंद थांबून रस्त्यावर जिथे आहे तिथे दीड मिनिटे थांबून हे स्तब्धता रुपी वंदन प्रथमच साकारले जाणार आहे. या वंदन कार्यक्रमात केवळ शहरच नव्हे तर जिल्ह्यातील, राज्यातील, परदेशातील ज्यांना शाहू महाराजांची थोरवी माहिती आहे ते कोणीही त्यांच्यासाठी स्तब्ध राहून सहभागी होऊ शकणार आहेत  

या निमित्ताने शाहू महाराजांनी आपल्यासाठी किती काय काय करून ठेवले आहे. त्याचे स्मरण केले जावे. त्यांच्या या कार्याची स्मृती प्रत्येकाच्या मनात रुजावी हा यामागचा उद्देश आहे.

१ मे पासून स्तब्धते बाबत दररोज एफएम, रेडिओ, सर्ववृत्तवाहिन्या, चॅनलवरून सतत प्रसिद्धी दिली जाणार आहे. ६ मे सकाळी १० वाजता १०० सेकंदासाठी स्तब्धता आपल्या शाहू राजासाठी असे वारंवार घोषित केले जाणार आहे. तसेच शहरात आपत्कालीन सूचना देण्यासाठी ठिकाणी उभारण्यात आलेल्या स्पीकर वरून बिगुल वाजवून पूर्वसूचना दिली जाणार आहे. या शिवाय सर्व उद्योग व्यवस्थापनातील सायरन, रुग्णवाहिका वरील सायरन १० वाजता एका वेळी वाजविले जाणार आहेत. जेणेकरून आता आपण स्तब्धता पाळायची आहे याची जाणीव नागरिकांना करू दिली जाणार आहे. स्तब्धतेसाठी सर्व वाहतुकीची १०० सेकंदासाठी थांबावी यासाठी चौकाचौकात स्वयंसेवक उभे राहणार आहेत ते शिट्टी वाजवून स्तब्धता क्षणाची सर्व वाहनधारकांना जाणीव करून देणार आहेत.त्यामुळे सर्व वाहने  आहे त्या जागी काही क्षण थांबणार आहेत. राजश्री शाहू महाराजांनी समाजकारण, कला, क्रीडा, शेती, उद्योग, व्यापार जल व्यवस्थापन या सर्व अंगाने सार्‍या देशाला अभिमान वाटेल असा कारभार केला आहे. किंबहुना कोल्हापूरसाठी त्यांनी अनेक योजना करून ठेवल्या आहेत. समाजकारणात तर शाहू महाराजांनी करून ठेवलेले कायदे आज ही मानवी हक्काचा पाया मानले जातात. त्यांचे निधन अवघ्या ४८ व्या वर्षी झाले २८ वर्षे त्यांनी राज्यकारभार केला आणि त्या कालावधीत पुढे पिढ्यानपिढ्या आदर्श घेता येईल असा राज्यकारभाराचा वास्तुपाठच घालून दिला. त्यामुळे त्यांच्या या कार्याला वंदन म्हणून शाहू स्मृती शताब्दी पर्व साजरे केले जात आहे आणि त्यातील स्तब्धता म्हणजे एक अनोखे वंदन असणार आहे.

May 6, 1922 marks the 100th anniversary of the death of Rajshri Shahu Maharaj.

The whole of Kolhapur will be shut down for 100 seconds on May 6 at 10 am. This silence will be a collective salute to Rajshri Shahu Maharaj on the occasion of his 100th Memorial Day. All transactions will be stopped for 100 seconds and one and a half minutes wherever it is on the road. Anyone who knows Shahu Maharaj not only in the city but also in the district, state and abroad will be able to participate in this Vandan program in silence for him.

On this occasion, Shahu Maharaj has done so much for us. It should be remembered. The purpose of this is to inculcate the memory of his work in everyone's mind.

From May 1, there will be daily publicity on FM, radio, all news channels and channels about the silence. On May 6, at 10 am, a 100-second silence will be repeatedly announced for our Shahu Raja. Also, in the city, early warning will be given by blowing the bugle from the speaker set up at the place to give emergency notice. In addition, all industry management sirens and ambulance sirens will be sounded at 10 o'clock at the same time. So now the citizens will be allowed to realize that we want to observe silence. Volunteers will stand at the intersection to make all traffic stop for 100 seconds. They will blow the whistle and make all the vehicle owners aware of the moment of stagnation. Rajshri Shahu Maharaj has made the whole country proud in all aspects of sociology, arts, sports, agriculture, industry, trade and water management. In fact, they have made many plans for Kolhapur. In social science, the laws made by Shahu Maharaj are considered as the foundation of human rights today. He passed away at the age of just 48 years. Therefore, Shahu Smriti Shatabdi is being celebrated as a tribute to his work and the silence in it will be a unique tribute.
