मुंबई,ता. २१ : कोरोनाचा वाढता प्रार्दुभाव रोखण्यात लसीकरण प्रभावी ठरत असल्याचे विविध देशातील लसीकरणावरून दिसत आहे. महाराष्ट्रातही मोठ्या प्रमाणात लसीकरण मोहिम हाती घेण्यात आलेली आहे. परंतु राज्य सरकारने सध्या लावलेल्या कठोर निर्बंधांमुळे सर्वसामान्यांना लसीकरण केंद्रावर जाऊन लस घेण्यास अडचणी येत आहेत. ग्रामीण भागात लसीकरण केंद्रे संख्येने कमी व दूर अंतरावर असल्याने प्रवास करून केंद्रावर जाऊन लस घेणे लोकांसाठी जिकिरीचे ठरत आहे. १ मे नंतर तर १८ वर्षांवरील सर्वांचे लसीकरण केले जाणार आहे. त्यावेळी लसीकरण केंद्रावरील गर्दी वाढून संसर्ग वाढण्याचा धोका जास्त आहे. लसीकरणातील या सर्व अडचणी दूर करून ‘घरोघरी जाऊन कोरोना प्रतिबंधक लस देण्याची मोहिम’ राज्य सरकारने हाती घ्यावी, अशी मागणी महाराष्ट्र प्रदेश काँग्रेस कमिटीचे अध्यक्ष नाना पटोले यांनी केली आहे.
पटोले यांनी यासंदर्भात मुख्यमंत्री उद्धव ठाकरे यांनी पत्र लिहिले आहे. या पत्रात त्यांनी म्हटले आहे की, कोरोनावर मात करण्यासाठी आपली यंत्रणा सर्व पातळ्यांवर काम करत आहे. परंतु कोरोनावर मात करण्याकामी लसीकरण हेच जगभरात प्रभावी अस्त्र ठरलेले आहे. इस्त्राइल सारख्या छोट्या देशाने ते करून दाखवले आहे. अमेरिका, ब्रिटनसह इतर देशानेही लसीकरण मोहिम मोठ्या प्रमाणावर राबविल्याने कोरोनाची रुग्णसंख्या आटोक्यात आली आहे. महाराष्ट्रानेही देशात लसीकरणात मोठी आघाडी घेऊन १ कोटीपेक्षा जास्त लसीकरण केले आहे. ही लसीकरण मोहिम राबवण्यासाठी मनुष्यबळही मोठ्या प्रमाणात लागणार आहे हे लक्षात घेऊन सरकारी यंत्रणेबरोबरच, खाजगी रुग्णालयातील कर्मचारी वर्ग, स्वयंसेवी संस्था-संघटनांची मदत घेता येईल. पोलिओ या महामारीचे समूळ उच्चाटन करण्यासाठी देशपातळीवर मोठ्या प्रमाणात अशीच मोहिम राबवण्यात आली होती. याचधर्तीवर घरोघरी जाऊन कोरोनाची लस दिली तर कोरोना रुग्णसंख्या आटोक्यात आणण्यात मोठे यश येईल.
कोरोना महामारीने मानवजातीसमोरच गंभीर संकट उभे ठाकले असून दुसऱ्या लाटेत संक्रमण मोठ्या वेगाने होत आहे. शहरी भागात मोठ्या प्रमाणात पसरलेले हे संक्रमण आता गाव-खेड्यातही मोठ्या प्रमाणात पोहचले आहे. वर्षभरापासून आपण या संकटाचा सामना करत आहोत. रुग्णालयात बेड्स मिळत नाहीत, रेमडेसीवीर, ऑक्सीजनअभावी दररोज लोकांचे जीव जात आहेत हे भयानक चित्र पहावत नाही. एकीकडे जीवितहानी होत असताना अर्थचक्रही सुरुळीत चालण्यात अडथळे येत आहेत. कोरोनामुळे वर्षभरात सर्वच क्षेत्राला मोठा फटका बसलेला आहे. या संकटावर मात करण्यासाठी मोठ्या प्रमाणावर लसीकरण करावे ही काँग्रेस पक्षाची पहिल्यापासूनची आग्रही मागणी राहिली आहे. काँग्रेसच्या मागणीचा विचार करून आपण योग्य तो निर्णय घ्यावा, असे नाना पटोले म्हणाले.
