राज्यातील हॉटेल्स सुरु करण्यासंदर्भात लवकरच निर्णय : मुख्यमंत्री उद्धव ठाकरे

शासनाने आम्हाला देखील कोरोना योद्धा म्हणून पाहावे  : हॉटेल्स असोसिएशन

 महाराष्ट्रात पर्यटन व्यवसायांत हॉटेल उद्योगाचे मोठे स्थान आहे हे लक्षात घेऊन हा उद्योग परत कसा सुरु करता येईल यासाठी कोरोनाच्या पार्श्वभूमीवर एक कार्यपद्धती तयार केली असून ती लवकरच अंतिम झाल्यावर हॉटेल्स आणि रेस्टॉरंट सुरु करण्याचा विचार असल्याचे मुख्यमंत्री उद्धव ठाकरे यांनी सांगितले. 

मुंबई,ता. ५: निशान बिगीन अगेनमध्ये राज्यात आपण उद्योग व्यवसाय सुरु केले आहेत. महाराष्ट्रात पर्यटन व्यवसायांत हॉटेल उद्योगाचे मोठे स्थान आहे हे लक्षात घेऊन हा उद्योग परत कसा सुरु करता येईल यासाठी कोरोनाच्या पार्श्वभूमीवर एक कार्यपद्धती तयार केली असून ती लवकरच अंतिम झाल्यावर हॉटेल्स आणि रेस्टॉरंट सुरु करण्याचा विचार असल्याचे मुख्यमंत्री उद्धव ठाकरे यांनी सांगितले. ते आज राज्यातील हॉटेल्स असोसिएशनच्या पदाधिकारी यांच्यासमवेत व्हिडीओ कॉन्फरन्समध्ये बोलत होते. यावेळी पर्यटन मंत्री आदित्य ठाकरे, मुख्य सचिव संजय कुमार, मुख्यमंत्र्यांचे प्रधान सल्लागार अजोय मेहता, पर्यटन प्रधान सचिव वल्सा नायर सिंह सहभागी होते. 

यावेळी बोलताना मुख्यमंत्र्यांनी हॉटेल व्यवस्थापनांनी आपल्या कामगार व कर्मचाऱ्यांना कामावरून कमी करू नये असे सांगितले. 

मुख्यमंत्री म्हणाले की मुंबई व शहरांतील सर्व हॉटेल्स या कोरोना युद्धात आमच्याबरोबर आहेत त्यासाठी त्यांचे अभिनंदन.  पर्यटन व्यवसायातील महत्वाचा उद्योग असलेली हॉटेल्स तसेच  लॉजेस सुरु करण्यापूर्वी खूप काळजी घेऊन परवानगी द्यावी लागेल. आपली जबाबदारी दुहेरी आहे. 

             

  हॉटेल्समध्ये येणारा प्रत्येक अभ्यागत, प्रवाशी निरोगी असेल यासाठी त्यांची वैद्यकीय तपासणी करावी लागेल कारण एक कोविड पॉझिटिव्ह  व्यक्ती हॉटेलमध्ये आला तरी सर्व हॉटेल व कर्मचारी आजारी पडू शकतात. आत्ता आत्ता आपण सलूनला परवानगी दिली आहे ती सुद्धा  फक्त केस कापणे व हेअर डायसाठी. जिम देखील बंदच ठेवले आहे कारण आपल्याला खूप काळजी घ्यावी लागणार आहे.  

हॉटेल्स सुरु करायला काही अडचण नाही मात्र राज्य शासनाने आखून दिलेल्या कार्यपद्धतीप्रमाणे आपल्याला नियमांचे पालन करावे लागणार आहे. आज स्थानिक जे कामगार , कर्मचारी आपल्या हॉटेल्समध्ये आहेत त्यांना काढू नका. यात आपण काहीतरी मार्ग निश्चितपणे काढू, या संकट समयी कामगार संघटना देखील अवाजवी मागण्या करणार नाहीत असे मुख्यमंत्री म्हणाले. 

स्वयंशिस्तही महत्वाची -आदित्य ठाकरे

पर्यटन मंत्री आदित्य ठाकरे म्हणाले की हॉटेल उद्योग हा पर्यटन व्यवसायासाठी खूप महत्वाचा आहे. नाईट लाईफला देखील आपण प्रोत्साहन दिले कारण . पर्यटन व्यवसाय हा राज्याच्या विकासाला उत्तेजन देऊ शकतो हे आपल्याला माहित आहे. मुंबई, ठाणे, पुणे, औरंगाबाद व इतर मोठ्या  श्हरांत आम्ही सगळे व्यवहार सुरु करतांना भविष्यातील  वाढती रुग्ण संख्या लक्षात घेऊन जम्बो सुविधा वाढवण्यावर भर दिला आहे.

        

     या सगळ्या प्रयत्नांत हॉटेल्सनी आमच्या वैद्यकीय तसेच शासकीय यंत्रणांसाठी खूप मदत केली   कोरोनानंतर हा हॉटेल उद्योग परत जोमाने पायावर उभा राहिला पाहिजे. मात्र कोरोनाच्या पार्श्वभूमीवर या उद्योगाने स्वयंशिस्तीसाठी स्वत:ला  नियम घालणे महत्वाचे आहे.

मुख्य सचिव संजय कुमार म्हणाले की, हॉटेल्स  १०० टक्के लगेच सुरु करत येणार नाही पण टप्प्याटप्प्याने, सर्व काळजी घेऊन सुरु करण्याचे नियोजन आम्ही करतो आहोत.  प्रधान सल्लागार अजोय मेहता म्हणाले की,  हॉटेल्स सुरु करतांना काटेकोर नियमांची आखणी करावी लागेल. 

     

      हॉटेल्समध्ये मोठ्या प्रमाणावर सुविधांचा वापर निवास, जेवण्याखाण्यासाठी केला जातो त्यामुळे आपल्याला अधिक काळजी घ्यावी लागेल. प्रत्येक ठिकाणी सरकारला या नियमांची पूर्तता होते किंवा नाही हे पाहणे शक्य होणार  नाही यासाठी स्वयंशिस्त ठेवणे गरजेचे आहे 

इंडियन हॉटेल्स असोसिएशनचे गुरुबक्ष सिंग कोहली म्हणाले की  या उद्योगाला आता खेळते भांडवल आवश्यक आहे. शासनाने आम्हाला देखील कोरोना योद्धा म्हणून पाहावे. सर्वत्र  नोकऱ्या जात आहेत मात्र आम्ही आमच्या कर्मचाऱ्यांच्या घरी चुली पेटलेल्या राहतील याची काळजी घेत आहोत. आमचा प्रयत्न शासनाबरोबर राहण्याचा आहे. 

आज आमच्याकडे ८० टक्के स्थलांतरीत कामगार आहे.काही प्रमाणात  हॉटेल्स आणि रेस्टोंरंट सुरक्षित अंतर ठेवून सुरु करायला परवानगी द्यावी, इतर राज्यांशी आपली स्पर्धा असते. त्यामुळे पर्यटकांनी जास्तीत जास्त काळ महाराष्ट्रात, मुंबईत राहावे जेणे करून पर्यटन उद्योगाला वाव मिळेल. 

विवेक नायर म्हणाले की,  विजेची देयके कमी करावीत. हॉटेल्सना औद्योगिक दरात पाणी आणि वीज उपलब्ध करून द्यावा. कमलेश बारोट म्हणाले की, या उद्योगाला खुले केल्यास अनेक फायदे होतील.  हॉटेल्स आणि रेस्टोंरंटच्या खुल्या जागेत व्यक्तींच्या संख्येवर कमीतकमी मर्यादा असावी  अन्यथा उत्पन्न आणि कर मिळणार नाही.  हॉटेल्स आणि रेस्टोंरंटबाबत वेळेची मर्यादा वाढवून द्यावी. 

           सध्या ६ लाख कोटींपेक्षा जास्त फटका  हॉटेल्स आणि रेस्टोंरंट उद्योगाला बसत आहे. विमान सेवा मर्यादित प्रमाणात सुरु झाली आहे.  फ्लाईटमध्ये प्रवाशांना 8 -8 तास एकत्र बसावे लागते. हॉटेल्समध्ये एखादे कुटुंबीय सर्व प्रकारची काळजी घेऊन आणि सुरक्षितता ठेवून येऊ शकते. टेबल्सची मांडणी त्यादृष्टीने केल्यास, स्वच्छता ठेवल्यास काहीही अडचणी येणार नाही 

एस पी जैन म्हणाले की, हॉटेल्समधील सुविधा उद्योग आणि व्यवसायही वापरू शकते, त्यामुळे उत्पन्न वाढू शकेल.   मुंबईतील हॉटेल्स सध्या पालिकेने कोविड काळासाठी घेतल्या आहेत शिवाय काही सुविधा स्वत:हुन आम्ही उपलब्ध करून दिल्या आहेत, 

       याचा कमीतकमी मोबदला काही प्रमाणात मिळाला तर आम्हालाही येणारे खर्च भागवता येतील. पुनीत चटवाल म्हणाले की, अनेकांना त्यांच्या कामगार आणि कर्मचाऱ्यांत कपात करावी लागत आहे त्यामुळे हॉटेल्स काही प्रमाणात सुरु केल्यास व्यवसाय वाढेल. देवेंद्र भरमा, प्रदीप शेट्टी, हरप्रीत सिंग, तेज टकले यांनी देखील आपल्या सुचना केल्या.

Considering that the hotel industry has a big place in the tourism industry in Maharashtra, a mechanism has been worked out in the backdrop of the corona to revive the industry and plans are afoot to start hotels and restaurants as soon as it is finalized, said Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray. He was speaking in a video conference with officials of the Hotels Association in the state today. Tourism Minister Aditya Thackeray, Chief Secretary Sanjay Kumar, Principal Advisor to the Chief Minister Ajoy Mehta, Principal Secretary for Tourism Valsa Nair Singh were present on the occasion.

Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister said that hotel management should not lay off its workers and employees.

The Chief Minister said that congratulations to all the hotels in Mumbai and cities for being with us in this Corona War. Hotels as well as lodges, which are important industries in the tourism business, have to be allowed with great care before starting. Your responsibility is twofold. Every visitor to the hotel will have to undergo a medical examination to ensure that the traveler is healthy as even if a covid positive person comes to the hotel, all the hotel and staff may fall ill. Right now we have allowed the salon only for haircuts and hair dyes. The gym is also closed because you have to be very careful.

       There is no problem in starting hotels but we have to follow the rules as per the procedure laid down by the state government. Don't remove the local workers who are in your hotels today. We will definitely find a way in this, the Chief Minister said that even the trade unions will not make unreasonable demands in this time of crisis.

Self-discipline is also important - Aditya Thackeray

Tourism Minister Aditya Thackeray said that hotel industry is very important for tourism business. Because you also promote nightlife. We know that tourism business can stimulate the development of the state. In Mumbai, Thane, Pune, Aurangabad and other major cities, we have focused on increasing the number of jumbo facilities in view of the growing number of patients in the future. In all these endeavors, the hotels have helped a lot for our medical as well as governmental institutions. After Corona, the hotel industry should get back on its feet. But in the context of Corona, it is important for the industry to set its own rules for self-discipline.

    Chief Secretary Sanjay Kumar said, "Hotels will not be able to start 100 per cent immediately but we are planning to start in stages, with all due care." Principal Adviser Ajoy Mehta said that strict rules have to be laid down when starting hotels. Hotels have a lot of facilities for accommodation, meals so you have to be more careful. Everywhere the government needs to be self-disciplined so that it will not be possible to see if these rules are met

Gurubaksh Singh Kohli of the Indian Hotels Association said the industry now needs working capital. The government should also see us as Corona Warriors. Jobs are going everywhere but we are taking care that the stoves in our employees ’homes remain lit. We try to stay with the government.

     Today we have 80 per cent migrant workers. Some hotels and restaurants should be allowed to start at safe distances, we have competition with other states. Therefore, tourists should stay in Maharashtra and Mumbai for maximum time so that the tourism industry can flourish.

Vivek Nair said electricity bills should be reduced. Water and electricity should be made available to hotels at industrial rates. Kamlesh Barot said that opening up the industry would bring many benefits. The open space of hotels and restaurants should have a minimum limit on the number of persons otherwise income and tax will not be levied. Increase the time limit for hotels and restaurants. 

       At present, the hotel and restaurant industry is being hit by more than Rs 6 lakh crore. The airline has started on a limited scale. In flight, passengers have to sit together for 8-8 hours. A family can come to hotels with all kinds of care and security. If the tables are arranged accordingly, there will be no problem in keeping them clean

SP Jain said the facilities in hotels could also be used by industry and business, thus increasing revenue. The hotels in Mumbai are currently being taken over by the municipality for a limited period of time and we have provided some facilities on our own. If we get a minimum payment, we will be able to cover the expenses. Puneet Chatwal said that many are having to cut back on their workers and employees so if hotels are started to some extent, business will grow. Devendra Bharma, Pradip Shetty, Harpreet Singh, Tej Takle also gave their suggestions.
