दादरमध्ये 'संघर्ष यात्री सावित्री' एकपात्री नाटकाचा ५० वा सुवर्ण महोत्सवी प्रयोग दिमाखात संपन्न

मुंबई : स्त्री शिक्षणाच्या जननी क्रांतीज्योती सावित्रीबाई फुले यांच्या जीवनसंघर्षावर आधारित 'संघर्ष यात्री सावित्री' या बहुचर्चित एकपात्री नाटकाचा ५० वा सुवर्ण महोत्सवी प्रयोग नुकताच मुंबईतील दादर येथे मोठ्या उत्साहात पार पडला. आकृती थिएटर निर्मित आणि संकल्प थिएटर प्रकाशित असलेल्या या नाटकाने प्रेक्षकांच्या डोळ्यांचे पारणे फेडले.

बुधवारी दादर येथील छत्रपती शिवाजी महाराज नाट्यगृह येथे हा विशेष प्रयोग आयोजित करण्यात आला होता. १ तास १५ मिनिटांच्या या एकपात्री प्रयोगातून सावित्रीबाईंचा खडतर प्रवास आणि त्यांचे समाजकार्य अतिशय प्रभावीपणे मांडण्यात आले.

या प्रयोगाचे खास वैशिष्ट्य म्हणजे महाड चवदार तळे सत्याग्रहाच्या शताब्दीनिमित्त, या कार्यक्रमात ज्येष्ठ सामाजिक कार्यकर्ते आणि संविधान अभ्यासक सुरेश सावंत यांच्या हस्ते पुस्तकाचे प्रकाशन करण्यात आले. तसेच, स्त्रीवादी अभ्यासक आणि ज्येष्ठ सामाजिक कार्यकर्त्यांनी या सोहळ्याला प्रमुख पाहुण्या म्हणून उपस्थिती दर्शवली. नाटकाचे लेखन आणि दिग्दर्शन: संदेश गायकवाड, मुख्य अभिनेत्री: संध्या पानसकर (ज्यांनी सावित्रीबाईंची भूमिका साकारली),निर्मिती प्रमुख: संध्या पानसकर,पार्श्वसंगीत: अक्षय जाधव,प्रकाश योजना: सुनील मेस्त्री,नेपथ्य: सुनील देवळेकर यांनी केले.

यावेळी सुप्रसिद्ध अभिनेते सुबोध मोरे आणि सुमेध जाधव यांचे विशेष आभार मानण्यात आले. या प्रयोगाला नाट्यप्रेमी, सामाजिक क्षेत्रातील मान्यवर आणि महिलांची मोठी उपस्थिती लाभली होती. नाटकाच्या शेवटी प्रेक्षकांनी उभे राहून कलाकार आणि तंत्रज्ञांचे टाळ्यांच्या कडकडाटात कौतुक केले. ऐतिहासिक वारसा आणि सामाजिक प्रबोधन यांचा सुंदर संगम असलेल्या या नाटकाने पुन्हा एकदा प्रेक्षकांच्या मनावर आपली छाप सोडली आहे.

'Sangharsh Yatri Savitri' Monologue Play Celebrates Grand 50th Golden Jubilee Performance in Dadar

Mumbai: The 50th Golden Jubilee performance of the highly acclaimed monologue play 'Sangharsh Yatri Savitri'—based on the life struggles of the 'Mother of Women's Education,' Krantijyoti Savitribai Phule—was recently held with great enthusiasm in Dadar, Mumbai. Produced by Akruti Theatre and presented by Sankalp Theatre, the play offered a truly mesmerizing experience that captivated the audience.

This special performance was organized on Wednesday at the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Natyagriha in Dadar. Through this 1-hour and 15-minute solo performance, Savitribai's arduous journey and her pioneering social work were portrayed with remarkable effectiveness.

A special highlight of the event was the book launch ceremony held to mark the centenary of the Mahad Chavdar Tale Satyagraha; the book was unveiled at the hands of veteran social activist and constitutional scholar, Suresh Sawant. Additionally, feminist scholars and senior social activists graced the occasion with their presence as chief guests. The play was written and directed by Sandesh Gaikwad; the lead role was played by Sandhya Pansaskar (who portrayed Savitribai); the production was headed by Sandhya Pansaskar; background music was composed by Akshay Jadhav; lighting design was handled by Sunil Mestri; and the stage design (Nepatya) was executed by Sunil Deolekar.

On this occasion, special words of appreciation were extended to renowned actors Subodh More and Sumedh Jadhav. The performance witnessed a massive turnout, attended by theatre enthusiasts, dignitaries from the social sector, and a large number of women. At the conclusion of the play, the audience rose to their feet to applaud the artists and the technical crew amidst thunderous applause. A beautiful blend of historical heritage and social awakening, this play has once again left an indelible impression on the hearts and minds of the audience.
