नागपूर : महाराष्ट्र सरकारने अनुसूचित जातींच्या (SC) वर्गीकरणाच्या अभ्यासासाठी स्थापन केलेल्या अनंत बदर समितीने आपला अहवाल सादर केल्यानंतर आता राज्यात वादाचे ढग जमा होऊ लागले आहेत. या अहवालातील शिफारसींवर कडक आक्षेप नोंदवत युवा ग्रेजुएट फोरमने अनुसूचित जातींचे वर्गीकरण करू नये, या मागणीसाठी नागपूर येथील मुख्यमंत्री सचिवालय (Mantralaya Annex) येथे धडक दिली. १४ ऑक्टोबर २०२४ रोजी महाराष्ट्र शासनाने निवृत्त न्यायाधीश अनंत बदर यांच्या अध्यक्षतेखाली एक समिती स्थापन केली होती. या समितीचे काम अनुसूचित जातींमध्ये पोट-वर्गीकरण (Sub-categorization) करणे आवश्यक आहे का, याचा अभ्यास करणे हे होते. या समितीने नुकताच म्हणजेच १४ मार्च २०२६ रोजी आपला अहवाल राज्य शासनाकडे सोपवला आहे. या अहवालात वर्गीकरणाच्या बाजूने शिफारसी असण्याच्या शक्यतेने दलित संघटना आणि युवक आक्रमक झाले आहेत.
'युवा ग्रेजुएट फोरम'ची भूमिका
युवा ग्रेजुएट फोरमच्या वतीने सादर करण्यात आलेल्या निवेदनात असे नमूद करण्यात आले आहे की, अनुसूचित जातींचे वर्गीकरण करणे हे घटनात्मक तरतुदींच्या विरोधात आहे. यामुळे समाजात फूट पडण्याची शक्यता असून, आरक्षणाच्या मूळ उद्देशाला तडा जाऊ शकतो.
निवेदनातील मुख्य मुद्दे:
एकता धोक्यात: अनुसूचित जातींचे वर्गीकरण केल्यास पोटजातींमध्ये आपसात तेढ निर्माण होईल.
संविधानिक पेच: सर्वोच्च न्यायालयाच्या काही निकालांचा आधार घेत हे वर्गीकरण रेटले जात असले, तरी ते सामाजिक न्यायाच्या तत्त्वात बसत नाही.
अहवालावर आक्षेप: बदर समितीने कोणत्या आधारावर निष्कर्ष काढले आहेत, याची पारदर्शकता तपासावी.
मुख्यमंत्री सचिवालयात निवेदन सादर
फोरमच्या शिष्टमंडळाने नागपूर येथील मुख्यमंत्री सचिवालय (अप्पर आयुक्त कार्यालय परिसर) येथे जाऊन मुख्यमंत्र्यांच्या नावाने अधिकृत निवेदन सादर केले. "जोपर्यंत आमचे आक्षेप विचारात घेतले जात नाहीत, तोपर्यंत या अहवालाची अंमलबजावणी करू नये," अशी आग्रही मागणी यावेळी करण्यात आली.
यावेळी युवा ग्रेजुएट फोरमचे प्रमुख पदाधिकारी, पदवीधर तरुण आणि सामाजिक कार्यकर्ते मोठ्या संख्येने उपस्थित होते. "सरकारने जर एकतर्फी निर्णय घेतला, तर राज्यव्यापी आंदोलन उभे केले जाईल," असा इशाराही यावेळी देण्यात आला.

On October 14, 2024, the Maharashtra government constituted a committee under the chairmanship of retired Justice Anant Bader. The event witnessed the presence of key office-bearers of the 'Yuva Graduate Forum,' along with a large number of young graduates and social activists. A stern warning was also issued, stating that "if the government proceeds to take a unilateral decision, a statewide agitation will be launched."
