वानखडे दाम्पत्यांनी एकुलती एक मुलगी धम्माला दिली दान..!

अमरावती :  शहरातील अडवाणी नगर, गोपाल नगर परिसरातील एका बौद्ध दांपत्यांनी  आपल्या उच्चशिक्षित २४ वर्षीय एकूलत्या एक मुलीला तिच्या वाढदिवसाच्या दिवसीच बौद्ध धम्माच्या प्रचार व प्रसारा करिता धम्माला दान केले आहे. धम्मदीक्षा घेणाऱ्या युवतीचे नाव डॉ. श्रेया वानखडे आहे.  प्रवज्या घेऊन गृहस्थ जीवनाचा त्याग करून बौद्ध धम्माची श्रामनेर दीक्षा  घेतली आहे.

 उपसंपादित होऊन आजीवन भिक्खूनीचे जीवन जगण्याचा डॉ श्रेया यांनी संकल्प केला आहे.  अनाथ पींडक बुद्धविहार ,पोहरा आसेगाव पूर्णा    सोहळा आयोजित करण्यात आला होता.  बौद्ध  भिख्खूच्या उपस्थितीत  सोहळा पार पडला.

    उपसंपदा  दिक्षांत   सोहळ्याला  भदंत बुद्धप्रिय , आर्या प्रजापती महाथेरी,भदंत शिलरत्न  यांच्या उपस्थितीत श्रामनेर दीक्षा घेतली. यावेळी डॉ. श्रेया ची आई ज्योती वानखडे व वडील ईश्वर वानखडे यांच्या सह बौद्ध उपासक उपासिका बहुसंख्येने उपस्थित होत्या. दीक्षा विधी पूर्ण झाल्यानंतर डॉ श्रेया वानखडे यांचे नाव बदलून आर्या संबोधी असं ठेवण्यात आलं आहे.यापुढे डॉ. श्रेया वानखडे (आर्य संबोधी) बौद्ध धम्माचा प्रचार आणि प्रसार करणार आहे. डॉ. श्रेया वानखडे यां दंतचिकित्सक(बिडीएस)आहे बुद्ध धम्मा प्रति आस्था असल्याने दीक्षा घेण्याचा निर्णय घेतला आहे.

 लहानपणापासून  डॉ. श्रेया या आपल्या कुटुंबीयांसोबत बौद्ध विहारात जात असत.डॉ. श्रेया  बालपणा पासूनच बौद्ध भिक्खू च्या सहवासात राहून बौद्ध धम्माच्या प्रभावात आहेत.त्याची भेट भदंत बुद्धघोष महास्थविर  झाली आणि आपल्या आयुष्याला कलाटणी मिळाल्याचं डॉ. श्रेया यांचे म्हणणं आहे. महत्वाची बाब म्हणजे एकुलत्या एक मुलीच्या या निर्णयानंतर आपण समाधानी असल्याचं आई-वडिलांनी सांगितलं.

डॉक्टर श्रेया या आईवडिलांची एकुलती एक मुलगी असून त्याच अडवाणी नगर, गोपाल नगर परिसरात  सगळं लहानपण  गेलेलं. पण आता तिने उपसंपदा घेऊन धम्माचा मार्ग स्वीकारला आहे. यानंतर आयुष्यभर ती बौद्ध भिकुनी  म्हणून बौद्ध धम्माचा प्रचार प्रसार करणार आहे. दीक्षा घेतल्यानंतर डॉक्टर श्रेया यांचे आयुष्य पुरतं बदलून जाणार आहे. अंगात काश्याय वस्त्र (चिवर), बौद्ध विहारात वास्तव्य,  सुखवस्तू आयुष्याचा त्याग करणं, एक वेळ जेवण  बौद्ध भिकुनींच्या आयुष्यात असलेले निर्बंध डॉ. श्रेया यांना पाळावे लागणार आहेत. यानंतर त्या आयुष्यभर कधीही त्याच्या घरीही जाऊ शकणार नाहीत

भिख्खूनीं संघासाठी  स्वतंत्र राहण्याची व्यवस्था नसल्याने अडचण

गत दहा वर्षांमध्ये ४०० मुलांना व ४० महिलांना बौद्ध धम्माची श्रामनेर दीक्षा दिली आहे. डॉक्टर श्रेया या लहानपणापासूनच संपर्कात आहेत त्यांच्यावर बौद्ध धम्माचा प्रभाव असल्याने त्यां आजीवन प्रचार व प्रसार करणार आहेत. बहुसंख्येने महिला तरुणी दीक्षा घेण्यास इच्छुक आहेत. मात्र जिल्ह्यात कुठेही भिख्खूनीं संघासाठी साठी स्वतंत्र राहण्याची व्यवस्था नसल्याचे अडचण असल्याने त्यांना धम्मदीक्षा देऊ शकत नाही. याची खंत भंते बुद्धप्रिय यांनी यावेळी व्यक्त केली. जिल्ह्यात लवकरच भिक्खुनींसाठी स्वतंत्र मॉनेस्ट्री निर्माण करणार असल्याचे  बुद्धघोष महाथेरो यांनी सांगितले.

जिल्ह्यात बौद्ध भिक्खूंची संख्या अत्यल्प

अमरावती जिल्ह्यात बौद्ध धर्मियांची संख्या अडीच ते तीन लाख लोकसंख्या आहे मात्र त्यामानाने बौद्ध भिख्खू ३५ व भिख्खूनींची संख्या केवळ १० आहे. अतिशय अल्प असून ही शोकांतिका आहे. तेव्हा बौद्ध धम्माचा प्रचार व प्रसार व्हावा याकरिता शिक्षित युवकांनी युवतींनी धम्माच्या प्रचार व प्रसार करण्यासाठी पुढे यावे.

Amravati :  A Buddhist couple from Advani Nagar, Gopal Nagar area of the city has donated their highly educated 24-year-old only daughter to Dhamma on her birthday for the propagation and propagation of Buddhism. The name of the young woman taking dhammadiksha is Dr. Shreya is Wankhade. Having renounced household life, he has taken Shramner Diksha of Buddhist Dhamma.

  Dr. Shreya has resolved to live the life of a bhikkhuni by becoming a sub-editor. On Monday (6th), Anath Pindak Buddha Vihara, Pohra Assegaon Purna Sohla was organized. The ceremony was performed in the presence of a Buddhist monk.

     Shramner Diksha was conducted in the presence of Bhadanta Buddhapriya, Arya Prajapati Mahatheri, Bhadanta Shilratna at Upasampada Dikshan ceremony. At this time Dr. Shreya's mother Jyoti Wankhade and father Ishwar Wankhade along with Buddhist devotees were present in large numbers. After completion of the initiation ceremony, Dr. Shreya Wankhade's name has been changed to Arya Sambodhi. Shreya Wankhade (Arya Sambodhi) is going to preach and spread the Buddhist Dhamma. Dr. Shreya Wankhade is a dentist (BDS) who has decided to take initiation due to her passion for Buddha Dhamma.

  From childhood, Dr. Shreya used to go to Buddhist Vihara with her family.Dr. Shreya has been in the company of Buddhist monks since childhood and is under the influence of Buddhist Dhamma. He met Bhadanta Buddhaghosa Mahasthavir and Dr. Shreya says. The important thing is that the parents said that they are satisfied after this decision of the only daughter.

Doctor Shreya is the only daughter of her parents and spent her entire childhood in the same Advani Nagar, Gopal Nagar area. But now she has accepted the path of Dhamma by taking Upasampada. After this, she will propagate the Buddhist Dhamma as a Buddhist nun for the rest of her life. Dr. Shreya's life is going to change drastically after initiation. Wearing purple clothes (chivar), living in a Buddhist Vihara, renouncing a life of luxury, eating one time are the restrictions in the life of Buddhist nuns. Shreya has to follow. After this she will never be able to go to his house for the rest of her life

The problem is that there is no separate accommodation for the Sangha of Bhikkhunis

In the last ten years, 400 children and 40 women have been initiated into Shramner Buddhism. Dr. Shreya has been in contact with this since childhood as he was influenced by the Buddhist Dhamma, which he will continue to preach and spread throughout his life. Majority of young women are willing to take initiation. However, the problem is that there is no separate accommodation for the Sangha of Bhikkhunis anywhere in the district, so they cannot be given dhammadiksha. Bhante Buddhapriya expressed his regret on this occasion. Buddhaghosh Mahathero said that a separate monastery for bhikkhunis would soon be built in the district.

The number of Buddhist monks in the district is very less

The number of Buddhists in Amravati district is 250 to 300,000, but the number of Buddhist bhikkhus is 35 and the number of bhikkhunis is only 10. Too little is a tragedy. So that educated youths and young women should come forward to promote and spread the Buddhist Dhamma.
