कोविड -19 : मिथक आणि वास्तव विषयावर वेबिनार : पीआयबी

सावधगिरी बाळगा, अफवांवर विश्वास ठेवू नका, आरोग्यसेवेतील  योद्धांना पाठबळ  द्या  : डॉक्टरांचा  संदेश  

   

 

कोविड -19 विषाणू हा “सुपर स्प्रेडर” आहे, श्वासोच्छवासाच्या थेंबाद्वारे तो एका व्यक्तीपासून दुसऱ्या व्यक्तीपर्यत पसरतो त्यावर कोणतेही प्रभावी औषध उपलब्ध नाही, केवळ सहायक उपचारच देण्यात येत असल्याचे डॉ. झंवर यांनी स्पष्ट केले . त्यांनी इशारा दिला की, “लस आणि औषध निर्मितीचे प्रयत्न सुरु आहेत असा विचार करून आपण आत्मसंतुष्ट राहू नये. सरकार आणि आयसीएमआरच्या मार्गदर्शक सूचनांचे नागरिकांनी पालन करावे.   

मुंबई, : पत्र सूचना कार्यालय (पीआयबी),चा पश्चिम विभाग आणि रीजनल आउटरीच ब्यूरो, महाराष्ट्र आणि गोवा विभाग यांच्या संयुक्त विद्यमाने कोविड -19 : मिथक आणि वास्तव या विषयावरील  राष्ट्रीय डॉक्टर दिनानिमीत्त  वेबिनारचे आयोजन करण्यात आले.  "अजिंक्य वैद्यकीय योद्धे अदृश्य विषाणूवर विजय मिळवणार आहेत" अश्या सकारात्मक संदेशाने सुरुवात  झाली. मनीष देसाई, महासंचालक, पश्चिम विभाग, माहिती आणि प्रसारण मंत्रालय, यांनी  पंतप्रधान नरेंद्र मोदी यांच्या प्रेरणादायी शब्दांचे  स्मरण करून दिले.

कोविड महामारीच्या पार्श्वभूमीवर कर्तव्य बजावत असलेल्या दोन डॉक्टरांनी  वेबिनारला संबोधित करताना या आजाराच्या विविध पैलूंबाबत माहिती दिली. यामध्ये मिथक आणि वास्तव  तसेच विषाणू विरोधात लढण्यासाठी आणि महामारीदरम्यान स्वत: ला सुरक्षित ठेवण्यासाठी लोकांना सक्षम बनवण्याच्या उद्देशाने आजाराशी संबंधित माहितीचा समावेश होता. पुणे रुग्णालयातील सल्लागार आणि  इंटरव्हेंशनल कार्डिओलॉजिस्ट डॉ. ईश्वर झंवर आणि मुंबईच्या नायर रुग्णालयाच्या  मानसोपचार विभागाच्या प्रमुख आणि कोविड संबंधी एचआर आणि लॉजिस्टिक प्रभारी डॉ. हेनल शाह यांनी वेबिनारमध्ये सहभागी झालेल्यांशी  संवाद साधला. या वेबिनारमध्ये माहिती आणि प्रसारण मंत्रालयाच्या अंतर्गत विविध विभागांचे सुमारे 100 अधिकारी आणि कर्मचारी उपस्थित होते, यात पत्र सूचना कार्यालय,  रीजनल आउटरीच ब्यूरो,आकाशवाणी, दूरदर्शन आणि फिल्म्स डिव्हिजन यांचा समावेश होता.

मानवजातीने यापूर्वी गोवर, कांजिण्या, पोलिओ इत्यादी घातक विषाणूंवर मात केली आहे. आणि म्हणूनच कोरोना विषाणू वर देखील  लवकरच औषध सापडेल. जसे साबण आणि पाण्याने हात धुणे किंवा अल्कोहोल-आधारित सॅनिटायझरचा वापर याला ब्लो ड्रायिंग  किंवा अतिनील निर्जंतुकीकरण दिवे हा पर्याय नाही . ते म्हणाले की चीनकडून पॅकेज मिळाल्याने  विषाणूचा संसर्ग नक्कीच होऊ शकत नाही आणि न्यूमोनियाविरूद्ध लस कोरोना विषाणूला प्रतिबंध करू शकत नाही. सार्स-सीओव्ही २ विरुद्ध लढाईतील प्रगतीबद्दल बोलताना डॉ. झंवर यांनी आशावादी स्वरात मत व्यक्त केले. 

सुरक्षित प्रतिबंधात्मक उपाययोजना प्रसिद्ध करणे

डॉ. हेनल शाह म्हणाल्या , "सोशल मीडिया भीती विषाणूपेक्षा वेगाने  प्रवास करते". महामारी  सुरू झाल्यापासून चुकीची माहिती आणि सनसनाटी बातम्यांविषयी बोलताना डॉ. शाह म्हणाले, आरोग्य संप्रेषणात माध्यमांची भूमिका चुकीची माहिती रोखणे आणि सुरक्षित राहण्यासाठी प्रतिबंधात्मक उपाययोजना प्रसिद्ध करणे  ही आहे.  त्या म्हणाल्या कि  वार्तांकनाची भाषा भीती, लाज, अपराधीपणाची भावना निर्माण करणारी असू  नये. विषाणूच्या प्रसाराची भीती त्याबरोबर कलंक घेऊन येते ज्यामुळे लोक त्यांची लक्षणे लपवतात  आणि डॉक्टरांचा सल्ला घेणे टाळतात.  अवास्तव माहितीविरोधात लढा देण्यासाठी माध्यम आणि संप्रेषणाच्या भूमिकेबद्दल योग्य ज्ञान देऊन त्यांनी लोकांना सक्षम बनविणे आवश्यक आहे. प्रकाशित किंवा प्रसारित केलेल्या माहितीचे समर्थन करण्याबाबत  त्या म्हणाल्या, “आपण सनसनाटी  काय  आणि उपयुक्त काय आहे यात फरक करायला हवा”.

डॉक्टरांना भेडसावणारी चिंता आणि भीतींबद्दल बोलताना डॉ. शाह म्हणाल्या की, ते त्यांच्या कुटुंबातील सदस्यांकडे विषाणूचा प्रसार होण्याच्या भीतीने चिंतीत आहेत. कोरोना विषाणूविरोधातील या युद्धामध्ये डॉक्टरांसह त्यांचे  कुटुंबिय देखील ओढले  गेले आहेत. तसेच एक अनिश्चितता कायम आहे कारण हा एक नवीन विषाणू  आहे ज्यावर आतापर्यंत कोणतेही  निश्चित बरे करण्याचे औषध नाही , जे त्यांच्या चिंतेत भर घालत आहे. पाळ्यांमध्ये काम केल्यामुळे त्यांच्या आरोग्यावर परिणाम होऊन  पुन्हा ताण येतो. डॉक्टरांनी स्वतःला नवीन उपचार प्रोटोकॉल, संशोधन, जगभरातील आणि स्थानिक पातळीवरील  सर्वोत्कृष्ट पद्धती याबाबत स्वतःला अद्ययावत ठेवले पाहिजे. 

   निवासी डॉक्टरांच्या परीक्षा जवळ आल्या आहेत  आणि त्यामुळे त्यांची चिंता वाढली आहे कारण कोविड ड्युटीवर असल्यामुळे त्यांना तयारीसाठी कमी वेळ मिळत आहे. डॉ. शाह म्हणाले, की एवढे सगळे करूनही त्यांना मृत्यूचा सामना करावा लागत आहे, जे मनोबल ढासळण्यास कारणीभूत ठरू शकते. त्यांच्या काही सहकारी डॉक्टराना विषाणूची लागण झाली , परंतु बरे झाल्यावर ते कर्तव्यावर परत आले,अशी माहिती डॉ. शाह यांनी दिली.

अनलॉक २ टप्प्यात आरोग्य विषयक माहिती कशी दिली जावी  या संदर्भात डॉ. शाह म्हणाल्या की, आता कोरोनाविरूद्धचे युद्ध आरोग्य व्यावसायिकांच्या हातातून समाजाकडे  गेले आहे. म्हणूनच, सरकार आणि आयसीएमआरच्या मार्गदर्शक सूचनांचे पालन करणे ही आता समाजाची जबाबदारी आहे.जी आता संबंधित माहितीचा प्रमुख आधार बनली पाहिजे.

वृद्ध लोकांवर कोविड -19 चा मानसिक परिणामाबाबत  डॉ. शाह म्हणाल्या कि  वृद्धांना सोशल मीडियाद्वारे संपर्कात राहण्यासाठी प्रोत्साहन दिले पाहिजे.

रोग प्रतिकारशक्ती वाढविण्याविषयी डॉ. झंवर म्हणाले, रोगप्रतिकार शक्ती वाढविणारे घटक असणे चांगले आहे, परंतु आपण कोविड -19 विरूद्ध प्रतिबंधात्मक उपाय म्हणून याचा गोंधळ घालू नये ,मात्र मास्कचा वापर , हात धुणे, शारीरिक अंतर राखणे यासारखे उपाय आवश्यक आहेत.

आपल्या उद्घाटनपर  भाषणात महासंचालकांनी आपल्या देशातील प्रसिद्ध डॉक्टर आनंदीबाई जोशी,द्वारकानाथ कोटणीस, बिधानचंद्र रॉय यांचे स्मरण केले मानवजातीसाठी त्यांनी केलेल्या उदात्त सेवेबद्दल लोक आजही त्यांचा आदर करतात. डॉक्टरांना आदरांजली वाहताना  ते म्हणाले की,  आपण आपल्या केंद्रस्थानी आहोत कारण आपले डॉक्टर आणि आरोग्यसेवक  कोरोना योद्धा आहेत.  "जेव्हा जग कोविड महामारीचा सामना करत असताना  कोरोना विषाणूविरोधात दीर्घकाळ चाललेल्या लढाईत हे डॉक्टर आघाडीवर लढणारे  कोरोना योद्धा आहेत.

 " केंद्र सरकारच्या विषाणू  विरूद्ध लढा देण्याच्या सक्रिय-दृष्टिकोनाबद्दल बोलताना ते म्हणाले: “केंद्र सरकार  राज्ये आणि स्थानिक स्वराज्य संस्थांना सहकार्य करत आहे. राज्याच्या यशोगाथा केंद्रातर्फे इतर राज्यांबरोबर सामायिक केल्या जात आहेत,जेणेकरून यशोगाथा पुन्हा तयार होऊ शकतील. कोविड -19 विरूद्धच्या लढ्याला एकात्मिक रणनीती वापरुन प्रतिसाद दिला गेला. आज, धारावी एक यशस्वी मॉडेल बनले आहे ज्याचा अभ्यास देशभरात तसेच आंतरराष्ट्रीय स्तरावरही केला जात आहे. यावेळी आरओबी पुणे चे संचालक संतोष अजमेरा यांनी आभार मानले.
