नागपुरात 'महाराष्ट्र दिन' व 'आंतरराष्ट्रीय कामगार दिन' उत्साहात साजरा; कामगार कल्याण भवनात ध्वजारोहण व व्याख्यान संपन्न

नागपूर: महाराष्ट्र कामगार कल्याण मंडळ, कामगार कल्याण भवन, राजे रघुजीनगर येथे १ मे रोजी 'महाराष्ट्र दिन' आणि 'आंतरराष्ट्रीय कामगार दिन' मोठ्या उत्साहात साजरा करण्यात आला. या दुहेरी औचित्यावर कामगार कल्याण भवनाच्या प्रांगणात भव्य ध्वजारोहण सोहळा आणि मार्गदर्शनपर व्याख्यान कार्यक्रमाचे आयोजन करण्यात आले होते. कार्यक्रमाची सुरुवात सकाळी कामगार कल्याण भवनाच्या प्रांगणात ध्वजारोहणाने झाली. नागपूर विभागाच्या सहाय्यक कल्याण आयुक्त मा. डॉ. प्रतिभा भाकरे यांच्या हस्ते ध्वजारोहण करण्यात आले. यावेळी उपस्थितांनी राष्ट्रगीत व महाराष्ट्र गीताच्या जयघोषात तिरंग्याला वंदना दिली.

कामगार कायदे आणि आधुनिक तंत्रज्ञानावर मार्गदर्शन

ध्वजारोहणानंतर आयोजित व्याख्यान कार्यक्रमाच्या अध्यक्षस्थानी प्रसिद्ध लेखक, साहित्यिक व समीक्षक मा. डॉ. संजय शेंडे लाभले होते. यावेळी प्रमुख व्याख्याते म्हणून उच्च न्यायालयातील ॲड. भाग्यश्री गव्हाळे आणि कोल इंडिया लिमिटेडचे व्यवस्थापक मा. श्री. मनजीत के. उपस्थित होते.

ॲड. भाग्यश्री गव्हाळे यांनी आपल्या मार्गदर्शनात कामगार कायदे आणि सामाजिक कायद्यांची सविस्तर माहिती दिली. कामगारांना त्यांच्या हक्कांप्रती जागरूक राहण्याचे आवाहन त्यांनी यावेळी केले.

श्री. मनजीत के. यांनी कामगारांच्या जीवनमानावर भाष्य करताना सांगितले की, "बदलत्या काळात कामगारांनी आपले जीवनमान उंचावण्यासाठी स्वतःचे व्हिजन आणि आधुनिक तंत्रज्ञानाचा समतोल वापर करणे काळाची गरज आहे." कार्यक्रमाचे प्रास्ताविक आणि पाहुण्यांचे स्वागत सहाय्यक कल्याण आयुक्त डॉ. प्रतिभा भाकरे यांनी केले. त्यांनी कामगार कल्याण मंडळाच्या विविध योजनांचा आढावा घेत कामगारांच्या हितासाठी मंडळ सदैव तत्पर असल्याचे नमूद केले. कार्यक्रमाचे नेटके संचालन आणि उपस्थितांचे आभार केंद्र संचालक सचिन वंजारी यांनी मानले.

या सोहळ्याला महाराष्ट्र कामगार कल्याण मंडळातील कर्मचारी, केंद्राचे सभासद आणि राजे रघुजीनगर परिसरातील नागरिक मोठ्या संख्येने उपस्थित होते. कामगार दिनाच्या निमित्ताने आयोजित या विधायक कार्यक्रमाचे परिसरात कौतुक होत आहे.

'Maharashtra Day' and 'International Workers' Day' Celebrated with Enthusiasm in Nagpur; Flag Hoisting and Lecture Program Held at Kamgar Kalyan Bhavan

Nagpur: 'Maharashtra Day' and 'International Workers' Day' were celebrated with great enthusiasm on May 1st at the Maharashtra Labour Welfare Board, Kamgar Kalyan Bhavan, located in Raje Raghujinagar. To mark this dual occasion, a grand flag-hoisting ceremony and an informative lecture program were organized within the premises of Kamgar Kalyan Bhavan. The day's proceedings commenced in the morning with the flag-hoisting ceremony held in the Bhavan's courtyard. The national flag was hoisted by the Honorable Dr. Pratibha Bhakare, Assistant Welfare Commissioner for the Nagpur Division. During the ceremony, those present paid homage to the Tricolor amidst the resounding renditions of the National Anthem and the Maharashtra Anthem.

Guidance on Labour Laws and Modern Technology

The lecture program, organized following the flag hoisting, was presided over by the renowned author, litterateur, and critic, the Honorable Dr. Sanjay Shende. Present as the keynote speakers for the occasion were Advocate Bhagyashree Gavhale from the High Court and Mr. Manjit K., a Manager at Coal India Limited.

In her address, Advocate Bhagyashree Gavhale provided detailed information regarding various labour laws and social welfare legislation. She took the opportunity to urge workers to remain vigilant and aware of their rights.

Commenting on the standard of living of workers, Mr. Manjit K. stated, "In these changing times, it is the need of the hour for workers to utilize a balanced blend of their own personal vision and modern technology in order to elevate their standard of living." The introductory remarks and the welcome address for the guests were delivered by Assistant Welfare Commissioner Dr. Pratibha Bhakare. While reviewing the various schemes implemented by the Labour Welfare Board, she emphasized that the Board remains ever-ready to work for the welfare and benefit of the workers. The program was conducted with great finesse by Center Director Sachin Vanjari, who also proposed the vote of thanks to the audience and guests. Employees of the Maharashtra Labour Welfare Board, members of the Centre, and residents of the Raje Raghujinagar area attended this ceremony in large numbers. This constructive program, organized on the occasion of Labour Day, is being widely appreciated throughout the locality.
