डॉ. गुप्ता यांनी वर्ष २००९ पासून दादासाहेब बालपांडे कॉलेज ऑफ फार्मसी, बेसा, नागपूर येथे सहाय्यक प्राध्यापक म्हणून काम केले. येथे डॉ. गुप्ता यांनी आपल्या जीवनातील आठ मौल्यवान वर्षे समर्पित करून पुढच्या पिढीच्या विद्वानांना मार्गदर्शन केले आणि त्यांना प्रेरणा दिली.
केंब्रिज युनिव्हर्सिटीत असताना, डॉ. गुप्ता यांनी त्यांच्या निवडलेल्या क्षेत्रासाठी अतुलनीय वचनबद्धता आणि उत्कटता दाखवून, इन्फ्लेमेटरी बोवेल डिसीज (IBD) आणि इरिटेबल बोवेल सिंड्रोम (IBS) असलेल्या रूग्णांमध्ये वेदना उपचारांवर लक्ष केंद्रित करून अत्याधुनिक संशोधनात स्वतःला मग्न केले. डॉ. गुप्ता यांनी लिहिलेले शोधनिबंध, प्रतिष्ठित जर्नल्समध्ये प्रकाशित झाले आणि कॉन्फरन्समध्ये सादर केले गेले, त्यांनी त्यांच्या नाविन्यपूर्ण अंतर्दृष्टीसाठी प्रशंसा मिळविली आहे. केंब्रिज विद्यापीठाकडून पीएचडी पदवी प्रदान करणे हे डॉ. गुप्ता यांच्या अथक परिश्रमांचे पराकाष्ठेचे प्रतिनिधित्व करते आणि एक विचारवंत आणि नवोदित म्हणून आशादायक कारकीर्दीची सुरुवात करते. डॉ. गुप्ता यांनी जटिल वैद्यकीय आव्हानांना तोंड देऊन आणि फार्मास्युटिकल संशोधन क्षेत्रात नाविन्यपूर्ण उपाय शोधून समुदायाची सेवा करण्याची योजना आखली आहे.
