परदेश शिष्यवृत्ती : ऑनलाईन शिक्षण घेत असलेल्या विद्यार्थ्यांनाही शैक्षणिक फी व निर्वाहभत्ता मिळणार

परदेशातील विद्यापीठात शिक्षण घेत असलेले विद्यार्थी कोरोनामुळे परदेशातून किंवा भारतातून ऑनलाईन शिक्षण घेत असतील तर त्यांनाही  परदेश शिष्यवृत्ती अंतर्गत शैक्षणिक फी व निर्वाह भत्ता मंजूर करण्यात येणार असल्याची माहिती    सामाजिक न्याय व विशेष सहाय्य  मंत्री धनंजय मुंडे यांनी दिली .

मुंबई : सन २०१९ - २० व २०२० - २१ या शैक्षणिक वर्षातील परदेशातील विद्यापीठात शिक्षण घेत असलेले विद्यार्थी कोरोनामुळे परदेशातून किंवा भारतातून ऑनलाईन शिक्षण घेत असतील तर त्यांनाही फेब्रुवारी २०२० ते सप्टेंबर २०२० या कालावधीसाठी परदेश शिष्यवृत्ती अंतर्गत शैक्षणिक फी व निर्वाह भत्ता मंजूर करण्यात येणार असल्याची माहिती    सामाजिक न्याय व विशेष सहाय्य  मंत्री धनंजय मुंडे यांनी दिली .

समाज कल्याण आयुक्त पुणे यांना याबाबत राज्य शासन स्तरावरून आदेश पारित करण्यात आला असून, शैक्षणिक फी व निर्वाह भत्ता देण्याच्या हा निर्णयास विशेष बाब म्हणून मान्यता देण्यात आली आहे.

या निर्णयानुसार २०१९ - २० व त्याआधीच्या वर्षामध्ये परदेश शिष्यवृत्ती योजनेअंतर्गत निवड होऊन परदेशातील विद्यापीठात शिक्षण घेत असलेले व सध्या शिक्षण सुरू असलेले विद्यार्थी सध्य स्थितीत परदेशात राहून ऑनलाईन शिक्षण घेत असतील त्यांना फेब्रुवारी २०२० ते सप्टेंबर २०२० या सत्रासाठी अनुज्ञेय असलेली शैक्षणिक फी व निर्वाहभत्ता मंजूर करण्यात आला आहे.

तसेच २०१९ - २० मध्ये निवड झालेले परंतु सद्यस्थितीत भारतात राहून किंवा भारतात परत येऊन पहिल्या सत्रासाठी ऑनलाईन शिक्षण घेत असलेले विद्यार्थी यांना २०२० - २१च्या पहिल्या सहामाहिसाठी अनुज्ञेय असलेली शैक्षणिक फी मंजूर करण्यात आली आहे.

सद्यस्थितीत जे विद्यार्थी भारतात परत येण्यास इच्छुक असतील त्यांना ते ज्या दिनांकास परत येतील तोपर्यंतचा निर्वाहभत्ता व येण्या-जाण्याचे नियमानुसार विमान प्रवास भाडे देखील देण्यात येणार असल्याचे या आदेशाद्वारे स्पष्ट करण्यात आले आहे.

Overseas Scholarships: Students studying online will also get tuition fees and subsistence allowance - Dhananjay Munde

Mumbai : Students studying in foreign universities for the academic year 2019-20 and 2020-21 are studying online from abroad or from India due to Corona, they will also be offered tuition fees under the Foreign Scholarship for the period February 2020 to September 2020. Minister for Social Justice and Special Assistance Dhananjay Munde informed that the subsistence allowance will be sanctioned.

An order has been passed by the state government to the Social Welfare Commissioner, Pune in this regard. The decision to pay tuition fees and subsistence allowance has been approved as a special case.

As per this decision, students who have been selected under the Overseas Scholarship Scheme for the year 2019-20 and earlier and are currently studying abroad and are currently studying abroad have been sanctioned tuition fees and subsistence allowances for the session from February 2020 to September 2020. .

Also, students who have been selected in 2019-20 but are currently living in India or returning to India and studying online for the first semester have been sanctioned tuition fees which are permissible for the first half of 2020-21.

At present, students who wish to return to India will be provided with subsistence allowance till the date of their return and also airfare as per the return rules, the order said.
