दैनिक पुण्यनगरीचे संस्थापक-संपादक मुरलीधर अनंता उर्फ बाबा शिंगोटे यांचे निधन

दैनिक पुण्यनगरीचे संस्थापक-संपादक मुरलीधर अनंता उर्फ बाबा शिंगोटे यांचे गुरुवारी  दिनांक सहा ऑगस्ट २०२० ला दुपारी एक वाजता त्यांचे जन्मगाव असलेल्या गायमुख वाडी तालुका जुन्नर येथे निधन झाले.

 बाबांचा जन्म पुणे जिल्ह्यातील जुन्नर तालूक्यातील उंब्रज या गावी सात मार्च १९३८ ला झाला होता.

      इयत्ता चौथी शिक्षण झालेल्या बाबांनी शिक्षण अर्धवट सोडल्यानंतर नोकरी-व्यवसायासाठी मुंबई गाठली. त्या ठिकाणी सुरुवातीला फळ विक्री त्यानंतर बुवाशेठ दांगट यांच्याकडे वृत्तपत्र टाकण्याचे काम सुरू केले. संयुक्त महाराष्ट्राच्या चळवळीसाठी मुुंबईतल्या फाउंटन परिसरात आंदोलन झाले होते, त्याचे बाबा साक्षीदार होते. 

     वृत्तपत्र विकताना सर्वसामान्यांना समजेल आणि वाचता येईल अशा भाषेतले वृत्तपत्र काढण्याचे स्वप्न त्यांनी उराशी बाळगले होते. १९९४ मध्ये मुंबई चौफेर नावाचे सायं दैनिक सुरू केले. यानंतर दैनिक आपला वार्ताहर, दैनिक यशोभुमी, दैनिक कर्नाटक मल्ला, तामिळ टाईम्स, हिंदमाता ही दैनिके सुरु केली. यातल्या दैनिक पुण्यनगरीची मुहूर्तमेढ १९९९ मध्ये रोवली. मराठी भाषिक वृत्तपत्रांसोबत इतर भाषिक दैनिक प्रकाशित करणारे मुरलीधर शिंगोटे हे एकमेव होते.

  

      त्यांच्या पश्चात पत्नी, तीन मुले, तीन मुली, सुना, नातवंडे असा परिवार आहे. त्यांच्या पार्थिवावर जन्मगावी सामाजिक अंतर राखण्यासंबंधी नेमून दिलेल्या नियमांचे पालन करुन अंत्यसंस्कार होणार आहेत.

वर्तमानपत्राच्या विक्रेत्यापासून तो एका माध्यम समुहाच्या मालक,संस्थापक, संपादकांपर्यंत मजल मारणाऱ्या ,सामान्यांमधून येत सामान्य वाचकांमध्ये आपले स्वतंत्र असामान्य  स्थान, या स्पर्धात्मक व्यवसायातही निर्माण केलेल्या आणि त्यासाठी 'जीवनगौरव'ही लाभलेल्या मुरलीधर शिंगोटे या प्रेरक व्यक्तीमत्वाला महाराष्ट्र सांस्कृतिक आघाडीतर्फे विनम्र श्रद्धांजली.                         - श्रीपाद भालचंद्र जोशी

Murlidhar Ananta alias Baba Shingote, Founder-Editor of Dainik Punyanagari passed away

Murlidhar Ananta alias Baba Shingote, founder-editor of Dainik Punyanagari, passed away on Thursday, August 6, 2020 at 1 pm in his hometown Gaimukh Wadi taluka Junnar. Baba was born on March 7, 1938 in the village of Umbraj in Junnar taluka of Pune district. Baba, who was educated in class IV, reached Mumbai for a job after dropping out of school.

   He started selling fruits at that place and then started sending newspapers to Buvasheth Dangat. The agitation for the United Maharashtra Movement took place in the Fountain area of ​​Mumbai, witnessed by his father. While selling newspapers, he dreamed of producing a newspaper in a language that the general public could understand and read. 

        In 1994, he started a daily called Mumbai Chauffeur. After this he started Dainik Aapla Vartahar, Dainik Yashobhumi, Dainik Karnataka Malla, Tamil Times, Hindmata. The daily Punyanagari was inaugurated in 1999. Muralidhar Shingote was the only one to publish other language dailies along with Marathi language newspapers.

      

 He is survived by his wife, three sons, three daughters, daughter-in-law and grandchildren. Funerals will be held on his body following the rules laid down for maintaining social distance at his birthplace.
