'Prayas' through social commitment: Needy students get educational support,
Lessons on cyber-traffic safety from dignitaries!
Nagpur: Demonstrating social commitment in North Nagpur, Prayas Green City Sanstha provided educational support to needy students. Notebooks were distributed to students at a program organized at New Chaitanya High School, graced by the esteemed presence of MLA Dr. Nitin Raut. Beyond just academic aid, dignitaries also imparted crucial lessons on cyber security and traffic rules to the students.
The event saw the presence of Vinod Kochhar, Founder President of Prayas Green City Sanstha; Dr. Rajendra Soni, President; Santosh Agrawal, Secretary; Jagdish Soni, Treasurer; Shraddha Dhumane from the Cyber Cell; ASI Akshay Sarode of the North Nagpur Traffic Police Department; Dhanashree Barsagade, Principal of New Chaitanya School; Jyotirao Barsagade, Director; former corporators Bhavana Lonare, Santosh Lonare, and Anil Meshram, among other dignitaries.
Dr. Rajendra Soni, the President of the organization, informed that Prayas Green City Sanstha not only distributes bicycles to needy students but also extends help to cancer patients.
ASI Akshay Sarode of the Traffic Police Department guided children on traffic rules. He highlighted the dangers of riding two-wheelers at a young age and urged parents not to yield to their children's insistence on driving. He also explained the importance of parents wearing helmets when dropping their children off at school to prevent accidents.
Shraddha Dhumane from the Cyber Cell emphasized the significance of cyber security in today's digital age. She advised students on what information to share or not to share on social media and what precautions to take while interacting with unknown individuals online. She stressed how to protect themselves from online fraud and cyberbullying. Dhumane appealed that if children ever feel scared online or find themselves in any danger, they should immediately inform their parents or teachers.
